Book Nook: The Broken People from God's Land

I recently was asked to review The Broken People from God's Land, a new book by Tim I Gurung.

The book takes place in a peaceful village, farmlands, animals, and everything the villagers need. Outsiders arrive, building new settlements, creating new jobs, and bringing more people with education and power. Eventually the villagers felt trapped in this new life, with no idea about the ideals of the strangers that took over their land. It eventually leads to conflict between the original villagers and the newcomers.

The book is a relatively easy read, and explores themes of conflict and resolution, peace, satisfaction, and the clash between the modern and the traditional.

TIM I GURUNG is an author working on 15th book based in Hong Kong, he writes on serious global and social issues, and he only writes for his charity - ISSLCARE.
